COMPOSITION:
– Colistin sulfate
– Excipient q.s
INDICATION:
– Used for the treatment of enteric infections caused by gram negative bacteriae mainly E.coli, Salmonella spp. in poultry, calf and lambs.
CONTRA-INDICATION:
– Hypersensitivity to polymyxins.
DOSAGE:
– Chickens : 20 g product per 1000 kg body weight
– Calves, lambs: 1.3 g product per 100 kg body weight
– Treatment period is 4-5 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
– 7 days.
